GEORGE ORWELL'S 1984 DISCO

To Orwell Today

Hi Jackie,

You were kind enough to post some info on your site last time we did this show. It's on again next week if any London based Orwell enthusiasts are free...

NOVEMBER 16-20 @ 7.30pm
George Orwell’s 1984 Disco by Stephen Keyworth

Winston goes back to his school days to find George Orwell working as an English teacher under a totalitarian regime. What really lies in Classroom 101? And were Duran Duran really as great as we remember? Comedy and dancing and Twister with the audience in Keyworth’s 80s pop remix of Orwell’s classic that celebrates everything that was great and sinister about 1984.

at The Hen and Chickens Theatre,

London N1
Box office: 020 7704 2001
All tickets £6.00

All the best,
Steve

Greetings Steve,

Having taken the "tube" to Orwell's Islington apartment and local pub during my Homage to Orwell in July 2003 I can somewhat picture your location.

I hope you have sold-out performances every night and that my London readers are in the audience. Please mention my website in your opening comments so that Orwell enthusiasts can keep up with Orwell 24/7/365.

All the best,
~ Jackie Jura

PS - I'll pop a few ORWELL TODAY business cards in the mail for yourself and other enthusiasts.
