Greetings Sharangabo,

Thanks for the link to those excellent photos showing aspects of the Congo including refugees and soldiers of Kabila and Nkunda. It's about time pictures were included with the news reports because it helps to understand the tragedy of war when we see the living human beings affected.

Christmas is to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace - the Mass of Christ - so now, more than any other time, let's pray God gives peace to our world.

Amahoro,

Last night I had the strangest dream,
I never dreamed before.
I dreamed the world had all agreed
To put an end to war.
I dreamed I saw a mighty room,
The room was filled with men.
And the papers they were signing said
They'd never fight again.

And when the papers were all signed,
And a million copies made
They all joined hands and bowed their heads,
And grateful prayers were made.
And the people in the streets below,
They all danced round and round.
And guns and swords and uniforms
Were scattered on the ground....

PEACE TALK NO ACTION
