JFK's Judge Pro-Life

The Supreme Court struck down a congressional ban on virtual child pornography,
thus protecting pornography or other sexual images that APPEAR to depict
real children engaged in sex.
The 6-3 ruling is a victory for pornographers and moviemakers.

JFK's JUDGE WAS PRO-LIFE

Simulated child sex is done through computer-generated images that are virtually
indistinguishable from real children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
...The Clinton and Bush administrations defended the law in court,
claiming it "helps to stamp out the market for
child pornography involving real children."

The above ruling came down the day after the death of retired Supreme Court Justice Byron White. No doubt it would have caused him grief because during his watch he ruled AGAINST child pornography and homosexuality, and abortion.

Retired USA Supreme Court Justice Byron White died yesterday, April 15, 2002. He was 84, the same age JFK would now be if he were still alive. They were both 44 years old when JFK appointed him to the Supreme Court in 1962. He was JFK's first (of two) Supreme Court appointees, and he served for 31 years before retiring in 1993. JFK had 100% confidence and respect for Byron White and knew the character and abilities of the man he and Bobby trusted explicitly. JFK and Byron White met in England, and again during the war when both were in the Solomons. It was Byron White who wrote the intelligence report on the sinking of PT-109.

Before the war Byron White had been the highest paid football player in the history of the world, and had also received the highest marks ever achieved in Yale Law School. After the war, and while practicing law in Colorado, he got recruited into JFK's presidential campaign and after the election Bobby chose him as his Deputy Attorney General, and then recommended him for Supreme Court Justice - a decision JFK agreed with wholeheartedly.

Byron White was a judicial extension of JFK, and would have deported himself in a manner that JFK approved. He is considered one of the most accomplished men of the 20th century. His impact on the Court and American Law is enormous, not least of all for his defense of the unborn.

Justice White was against the landmark decision, Roe vs Wade, which gave women the right to abortion-on-demand. The following are random excerpts which overview his opinion:

"I dissent. I find nothing in the language or history of the Constitution to support the Court's judgment, which fashioned and announced - with scarcely any reason or authority for its action - a new constitutional right for pregnant mothers.

"The Court's position is that the whim or caprice of the putative mother is valued more than the life or potential life of the fetus, and guarantees the right of abortion at her request if she is able to find a medical advisor willing to undertake the procedure - even in pregnancies that pose no danger whatsoever to the life or health of the mother - but are unwanted for any one or more of a variety of reasons -- convenience, family planning, economics, dislike of children, the embarassment of illegitimacy, etc.

"I cannot accept the Court investing mothers and doctors with a constitutional right to exterminate human life.

"This is an exercise of raw judicial power that the Constitution does not extend to this Court. It dissentitles the people and the legislatures to govern their own affairs."
