To Orwell Today,
Re MADE-IN-CHINA FOOD I now understand why so much of our food here in the States tastes bad even though I grew up with it and had a hard time learning to like "tin canned foods" having grown up on a farm.
What puzzles me is how the cost of foods coming from as far away as China could be cheaper than foods grown in the States or Canada as the cost of shipping is very high. The world points to us as being the hog of the world when it comes to oil uses. They do not seem to take in to consideration our large country and ever larger population. Even with slave labor in China the cost of shipping alone would make it higher than food grown "down the road."
I have come to think the whole thing is because governments sponsor the import companies over the home grown, using tax payer money of course.
It came out in the news that a man was growing food crops on his own property and sharing it with neighbors and friends was fined thousands of dollars and had to stop. He said he could have a horse, pigs, chickens but not food crops on his property. Make sense? That was said to take place in the state of Georgia.

Greetings Rachel,
Shipping food from China, and not allowing food to be grown here in America, only makes sense if you understand that the same powers-that-be who set up the brutal, totalitarian, inhumane systems in Russia and China are planning to set up the same system here in America and that control of the food we eat, the water we drink and the very air we breathe is part of their agenda.
All the best,
Jackie Jura
