To Orwell Today,
I have another Lincoln/Kennedy coincidence for your list at LINCOLN-KENNEDY COINCIDENCES:
When Nixon lost to Kennedy in the 1960 election, it was only the second time in U.S. history that the incumbent vice-president ran for president and lost. The first time was when Breckinridge lost to Lincoln in the 1860 election.

Greetings Hank,
Thanks, I'll add that interesting coincidence to the list.
All the best,
Jackie Jura
PS - There's been a flurry of Lincoln-Kennedy coincidences this past few days:
OSWALD HANDGUN SAME JFK .38 REVOLVER
JEFFERSON DAVIS IN LINCOLN-KENNEDY KILLINGS
