re: JACKIE'S TOUR & JFK'S FUNERAL

I agree with you totally that it is a huge dissappointment to not have available a video presentation of the funeral of JFK.

You are surely aware that CBS had a rebroadcast of large segments of the funeral on a Sunday morning special in November 1983. What happened to that video? You would think CBS has it still, right? I would like to hear from you about this.

I'm sure CBS has copies of JFK's funeral because they carried it live on Monday, November 25, 1963 (John John's third birthday). It wouldn't be difficult for them to make it available on VHS or DVD.

I probably saw the 1983 rebroadcast you're referring to because I always watch TV around November 22nd, looking for coverage of JFK. That is how I have come to notice that in the past several years the powers-that-be haven't been covering JFK's death with reverence, like they used to at least pretend to do.
