To Orwell Today,
re: KAGAME'S HERO FRED RWIGEMA

I am pleased to see and read about the commendable spirit of the late Fred Rwigema Gisa (may his soul rest in eternal peace) in Orwell Today.

I feel a punch in my chest every time the genocide is celebrated but thank God that it all ended in success.

However more should be done to safe guard the lives of the survivers which are on the hunt down by the genocidiors and peace will prevail in our mother land.

Taremwa Benon,
Rwandan from Uganda

Greetings Taremwa,

Fred Rwigema will go down in Rwandan history and be talked about for generations to come, as will his friend and fellow rebel and patriot, Paul Kagame, for leading the army of the Rwandese Patriotic Front down from Uganda to overthrow Rwanda's tyrant.

I'll always have a soft spot for Uganda, and its leader Yoweri Musevini, for his role in overthrowing Uganda's tyrants Milton Obote and Idi Amin with the help of Fred Rwigema and Paul Kagame. They cut their military teeth there and gained valuable experience for their ultimate battle - the liberation of Rwanda.

I hope that Uganda always remains a friend to Rwanda and extradites any genocidaires it has within its borders so that they can be punished and no longer active in the genocide movement which still exists in countries the genocidaires ran to for protection.

All the best,
Jackie Jura
