To Orwell Today,

Hi Jackie,

I'm writing in response to your recent reply to my last email about political correctness in the UK. You really brought the matter to a head with your cited extracts and examples of ORWELL on the churches and bells of our beloved country.

Here in Dorset I'm witnessing the destruction of many of our community churches, many sold off to unscrupulous landlords for private flats accommodation, whilst even others are now fancy restaurants for the wealthy in the town centre.

ORWELL was so astute and a truly remarkable man of his time.

Even my family church used by generations of my mother's family is now boarded up ready for demolition. Seems all the traditions and landmarks of our history and country are being replaced by food take aways as we go into probably the worst recession/depression since the thirties, a depression we have been talked into by the negative media and politicians alike using FEAR as the weapon, whilst the wars of Gaza, Iraq and Afghanistan have drained the world's resources and China has been promised Billions of dollars of oil in a pipeline from Iraq.

And Obama has pledged millions of dollars in aid and family planning initiatives to the third world, which means big profits for the milk powder companies and massive increases in abortions for our black sisters of the poor nations.

-Ray Wills

Greetings Ray,

With you being from Dorset (Bournemouth if I recall) I keep meaning to ask if you realize Orwell had close ties to Dorset. He had an uncle in Bournemouth (mother's brother) who ran a golf course there and they used to go visit in the summer when Orwell was a boy. Orwell's great-grandfather Charles Blair (married to Lady Mary, a daughter of the Earl of Westmoreland) lived in Winterborne Whitechurch, Dorset. Orwell's grandfather was born there in 1802. After being ordained an Anglican deacon in Calcutta he returned to England and was the vicar of Milborne St Andrew for thirteen years. Orwell's father, Richard, was born and baptized there in 1857. Some of Orwell's ancestors are buried in those Dorset churchyard cemetaries. Orwell contemplated moving to Dorset for his health if he got well enough to leave hospital. See ORWELL'S WHITE HORSE and ORWELL THE HAPPY VICAR

Here in Canada churches are also being put to different uses or demolished to make way for new subdivisions to be filled, most likely, with immigrants from Red China (the only ones with dollars to buy anything, their coffers rich from selling us their junk exports and controlling our natural resources).

And it's not just the Christian churches that are being destroyed (one way or the other) it's also Muslim mosques in the Arab world. For example, during Israel's latest war-crime in Gaza, dozens of mosques were destroyed.

Getting back to political correctness regarding Prince Harry's "Paki" comment, did you notice that immediately after Obama became USA president he ordered bombs be dropped on Pakistan and there was not one word of critical commentary? I guess it's goodthink for a black to bomb a "Paki" but thoughtcrime for a white to say  "Paki". Again, it's Orwellian doublethink.

And yes, regarding Obama and abortion, it sure didn't take him long to show his true colours regarding the zero-value he places on unborn human life. Three days after fumbling the presidential oath, Obama signed an executive order allowing USA tax-funded dollars to be used to fund abortions in 3rd-world countries receiving foreign aid. The result will be, as you say, massive increases in abortions for our black sisters.

Abortion is a huge industry in America (and elsewhere in the Western World) and there are billions in profits to be made in expanding that industry to Africa. Abortion is also a huge component in the destruction of the Western World, both culturally and demograhically, as described as THE END OF WHITE AMERICA in this month's edition of a major USA magazine, gloating over the fact that majority whites are being ruled by minority blacks (which are fast becoming the majority when joined with other minorities).

All the best,
Jackie Jura

Israel destroyed 41 Mosques during its 23-day assault on the Gaza Strip. Turkish Weekly, Jan 25, 2009
The Ministry of Religious Affairs in the de-facto government reports that 16 Mosques were destroyed in Gaza City, and 19 in the area north of Gaza City. Some of the Mosques were shelled while they were full of worshipers at prayer. The ministry added that five cemeteries were shelled, in some cases corpses were exhumed by the explosions. "The shelling and demolition of mosques is completely banned and not accepted in any religion," the ministry said in a statement, saying that Israel's actions revealed its "true, criminal face." The ministry also denied Israel's claims that Palestinian fighters used mosques to store weapons. "We wonder why Israel says resistance factions hide arms in mosques and the troops are shelling the schools and the mosques and the houses? This does not make sense because it is impossible to hide any arms in a public place like a mosque where worshippers go to pray." The ministry also called for an international investigation into what it said were war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza. They also called for "religious men" to stand with Palestinians and "oppose these crimes committed against holy places," appealing for support from Islamic institutions worldwide.

Obama orders air strikes on Pakistan villages in tribal area. Guardian, Jan 24, 2009
Barack Obama gave the go-ahead for his first military action yesterday, missile strikes against suspected militants in Pakistan which killed at least 18 people. Four days after assuming the presidency, he was consulted by US commanders before they launched the two attacks....Obama has warned that he is prepared to bomb inside Pakistan if he gets relevant intelligence about the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden. He had also said he would act against militants along the border if the Pakistan government failed to. The US missiles were fired by unmanned Predator drones, which hang in the sky gathering intelligence through surveillance and, when commanded and directed by remote control, to launch attacks. The strikes will help Obama portray himself as a leader who, though ready to shift the balance of American power towards diplomacy, is not afraid of military action....

Obama lifts funding ban on abortions abroad. Daily Mirror, Jan 24, 2009
The US president says the restrictions reduced basic healthcare for some of the world's poorest women. This led to back-alley abortions with countries including Ethiopia no longer able to offer comprehensive care for patients. Obama's action reverses the policy of predecessor George Bush - who said American taxpayers should not have to bankroll the abortion industry. Shhh. Obama Repeals the Abortion Gag Rule, Very Quietly, Time, Jan 23, 2009
On the day after the 36th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, President Barack Obama repealed a Reagan-era policy that prohibited foreign nongovernmental family-planning groups from receiving U.S. funds if they provided abortions or even lobbied for abortion rights in their country. It is an action his abortion-rights supporters have waited eight years for and one they had encouraged him to waste no time taking.

Obama's Abortion Bombshell
Unrestricted abortion over wishes of individual states a priority for Presidency
by Peter Smith, Hawaii Reporter, Jan 24, 2009
Barack Obamaa has plans to reward the allies that helped him topple Hillary Clinton from her throne by making total unrestricted abortion in the United States his number one priority as president. Focus on the Family's CitizenLink has decided to remind its supporters that more than one year has passed since Obama made his vows to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund that abortion would be the first priority of his administration. "The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act," Obama said in his July speech to abortion advocates worried about the increase of pro-life legislation at the state level. The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) is legislation Obama has co-sponsored along with 18 other senators that would annihilate every single state law limiting or regulating abortion, including the federal ban on partial birth abortion. The 2007 version of FOCA proposed: "It is the policy of the United States that every woman has the fundamental right to choose to bear a child, to terminate a pregnancy prior to fetal viability, or to terminate a pregnancy after fetal viability when necessary to protect the life or health of the woman." Obama made his remarks in a question-and-answer session after delivering a speech crystallizing for abortion advocates his deep-seated abortion philosophy and his belief that federal legislation will break pro-life resistance and end the national debate on abortion. "I am absolutely convinced that culture wars are so nineties; their days are growing dark, it is time to turn the page," Obama said in July. "We want a new day here in America. We're tired about arguing about the same ole' stuff. And I am convinced we can win that argument." Besides making abortion on demand a "fundamental right" throughout the United States, FOCA would effectively nullify informed consent laws, waiting periods, health safety regulations for abortion clinics, etc. Furthermore, medical professionals and institutions that refused abortions also would lose legal protections. FOCA would expose individuals, organizations, and governments - including federal, state, and local government agencies - to costly civil actions for purported violations of the act.

"Thirty-five years after Roe, abortion supporters, like Senator Obama, are dismayed that abortion remains a divisive issue and that their radical agenda has not been submissively accepted by the American public," states Denise M. Burke, vice president of Americans United for Life. "Rather than confronting legitimate issues concerning the availability and safety of abortion, they choose to blatantly ignore the concerns and interests of everyday Americans, as well as the growing evidence that abortion hurts women." Obama has won the crucial endorsement of abortion activist Frances Kissling, who broke from the ranks of other radical feminist leaders earlier this year to endorse Obama, saying Obama, not Clinton, would better use the bully pulpit of the presidency to accomplish their aims and end the culture wars over abortion.

Parental consent for abortion on Alaska Legislative docket. Channel 2, Jan 10, 2009
ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Among the variety of early bills soon to be up for discussion when the state Legislature convenes is one on parental consent for abortions. Rep. John Coghill and Sens. Fred Dyson and Gene Therriault have all sponsored proposed legislation that would require parents to give permission before a teenage girl could legally receive an abortion. Looking ahead to the upcoming legislative session, Gov. Sarah Palin says it's something she, too, thinks is a good idea. "Certainly, if we are a society that mandates parental consent before our daughters get their ears pierced, or even take a Tylenol tablet at school, I would think that there would be support both for parents to have to give consent and be informed anyway before such an invasive procedure of an abortion would be performed on our underage daughters also," she said. The Legislative session begins in Jan. 20.
