To Orwell Today,
re: RWANDA RAVE REVIEWS

Dear Jackie,

I want first to thank you for your love and wonderful work you do for RWANDA.

I saw the e-mail about the Rwanda Cinema Center but I realized they forgot to tell people that in that event we heard the AWARD WINNING Rwanda artist SAMPUTU who sang two beautiful songs and the MC told the audience that Samputu won recently the INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION. He won the first place in WORLD MUSIC category.

I just want to remind you this great detail.

GOD BLESS YOU,
M. Louis

Greetings Louis,

Thank you for telling me about the singer Samputu and that he won those great awards for Rwanda. I found samples of his singing from a google search and he sounds fantastic.

JEAN PAUL SAMPUTU - "a brilliant singer, songwriter and musician, is a tireless worker for peace and reconciliation. His life and music changed forever when the tragedy of genocide struck Rwanda in 1994. During this terrible period when almost one million Rwandan people were killed, Samputu lost his mother and father, three brothers and a sister. 'Testimony from Rwanda' is his first acoustic recording..."

All the best,
Jackie Jura

To Orwell Today,

Thank you for this fast answer. May God bless you and your's. I know how you love RWANDA and his people.

Many thanks,
M. Louis

Louis sends announcement that a Rwandan Children's musical troupe will be touring North America
