Why did you contradict yourself on answer to my email? you say the illuminati is the brotherhood, yet on another reply to another person you stated that it was big brother. sorry to push this Jackie but its bugging me.

Yes, I see that in the very bottom sentence in an email exchange approximately six months ago with another reader entitled:

TRUTH INSIDE NOT OUT THERE, I said:

"...The Illuminati (Big Brother) is powerless under the lifeforce that rules the world and its day of reckoning will come."

Then a few weeks ago, in an email exchange with you I said:

"...The Illuminati is more comparable to what Orwell referred to as The Brotherhood, a secret society whose members conspire to destroy the societies in which they live and replace individual governments with Big Brother, an organization comparable to the United Nations on steroids."

I see why you are confused because firstly I compared the Illuminati to BIG BROTHER and then secondly I compared it to THE BROTHERHOOD. But I am also confused about what exactly the Illuminati is. It's not my area of expertise and I have never written on the subject. My understanding of it in the scheme of things is evolving. Is it BIG BROTHER (which is Orwell's word for One World Government or is it THE BROTHERHOOD (Orwell's name for the group of people who are setting up One World Government)? I don't really know. Maybe it depends on whether or not it has the definitive article "the" in front of it:

Then it would have the same difference in meaning as BIG BROTHER does from THE BROTHERHOOD, ie Big Brother is the organization and The Brotherhood is its adherents.

You decide. I don't know. I'm having a difficult enough time explaining Orwell's terms, let alone someone else's.

PS - I have tried in many essays to understand and explain exactly what BIG BROTHER is and no doubt I haven't ever done it in a 100% satisafactory way, and there are probably other innocent contradictions. As I say at the top of the Readers' Email section of the website: "It is impossible for any one person to track BIG BROTHER's emerging presence throughout the world. Orwell Today is a work in progress..."
