Last week, as I sometimes do in November, I re-watched the movie EXECUTIVE ACTION, starring Burt Lancaster, that came out in 1973. I'd watched it for the first time on VHS about 30 years ago, in mid-90s, upon serendipitously discovering it in the local video-rental store. It blew my mind because I couldn't believe something so truthful and conspiratorial about the assassination of JFK had been made and allowed to hit the Big Screen. I knew it had obviously been written and produced by people in the know -- by the powers-that-be -- by the Orwellian Brotherhood -- who love to flaunt their evil doings under the guise of fiction, or science fiction. They take us all for chimps who can't add two plus two and get four.

I subsequently learned that the movie had been banned and removed from circulation within months of its release. At the time, and to this day, whenever I'm trying to explain my reasons for being "a JFK assassination conspiracy theorist" to people -- who I know won't do independent reading on their own, and to counter-balance the raw-sewage of the JFK-prolefeed they devour like junk-food on TV -- I recommend they watch EXECUTIVE ACTION.

Since the early 2000s I've owned a copy on DVD -- and show it whenever I have a captured audience and the subject comes up, which it often does. Once in awhile EXECUTIVE ACTION airs on Turner Classics on TV and it's online off and on.

It's online now on YouTube and that's where I watched it last week -- above's a screen-shot on my TV.

This was the first time I'd re-watched EXECUTIVE ACTION since finally getting around, this past year, to watching the movie TRUMBO which came out in 2015. I knew that Dalton Trumbo wrote the screenplay for EXECUTIVE ACTION but I knew nothing else about him. I didn't know he'd been outed as communist -- and blacklisted in Hollywood for writing pro-Soviet propaganda. Here's the basics from Wikipedia:

TRUMBO

The film follows the life of Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo whose talent places him among the elite of Hollywood. However, his active membership in the Communist Party of the USA draws the contempt of staunchly anti-Soviet entertainment-industry figures such as columnist Hedda Hopper and actor John Wayne. Trumbo is one of 10 screenwriters subpoenaed to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) regarding Communist propaganda in Hollywood films. They refuse to directly answer questions, confident that a liberal majority on the Supreme Court will overturn their convictions for contempt of Congress. Trumbo's friend Edward G Robinson, who supports the cause, sells Vincent van Gogh's 1887 painting "Portrait of Pere Tanguy" to raise money for their legal defense fund. The unexpected deaths of Justices Wiley Rutledge and Frank Murphy ruin Trumbo's plan to appeal. In 1950, Trumbo serves 11 months in Federal Correctional Institution in Ashland, Kentucky...

Trumbo is released from prison, but he remains blacklisted and his finances and family life become increasingly strained. He resorts to giving the screenplay for ROMAN HOLIDAY to a friend to take credit and a share of the money, and eventually the Academy Award for Best Story... He goes to work as a pseudonymous screenwriter for the low-budget King Brothers Productions, also farming out the writing of B-movie screenplays to fellow blacklisted writers... King Brothers' film THE BRAVE ONE, an original story by Trumbo under a pseudonym, receives an Academy Award he cannot claim. Industry suspicion of Trumbo's ghostwriting develops, but he is careful not to confirm it. In 1960, actor Kirk Douglas recruits him to write the screenplay for his epic film SPARTACUS, and director Otto Preminger recruits him to script EXODUS. Both men publicly credit him as the screenwriter... By early 1961, the effectiveness of the Blacklist had been broken to the point where newly elected US President John F Kennedy publicly endorsed SPARTACUS, and Trumbo and others are able to begin rebuilding their careers. Ten years later, finally receiving his due accolades from Hollywood, Trumbo speaks about how the Blacklist victimized them all: those who stood by their principles and lost their jobs, and also those who compromised their principles to keep them....

Despite generally positive reviews, several reviewers criticized the film for being historically misleading or ideologically manipulative. Godfrey Cheshire of the Roger Ebert Journal wrote that TRUMBO is "another of those simplistic, made-to-order films about the Hollywood blacklist in which the blacklisted movie folks are all innocent, in every conceivable way". Cheshire decried the film's insinuation that the House Committee on Un-American Activities created the Hollywood blacklist and that "Senator Joseph McCarthy had something to do with Congress' pursuit of Hollywood". Cheshire also criticized the film for mainstreaming communism. "It invites us to see the Communist Party USA as just another political party rather than as the domestic instrument of a hostile and ultra-murderous foreign tyranny". Other critics raised similar historical concerns. While the film portrays Trumbo as "a New Deal liberal hero defending civil liberties", Ron Capshaw in The American Spectator stated the real Trumbo was an outspoken supporter of Soviet-style communism, including Joseph Stalin and North Korean dictator Kim Il Sung. The conservative Pat Buchanan questioned the appropriateness of portraying Trumbo as a "martyr to the first amendment" while overlooking his support for regimes that actively suppress free speech. Armond White of National Review went a step further, accusing director Jay Roach of "unrestrained partisanship" for whitewashing the history of communism to invent a hero that supports Roach's political views...

THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUMBO:
Hollywood's Blacklisted Communist

A long-touted motion picture on prominent Hollywood screenwriter and communist Dalton Trumbo debuts in theaters this weekend. I will see the film, but first I'd like to share some background on Trumbo. I do so not as a film critic but as a historian of the Cold War and communism, including the Hollywood front for which Trumbo was extremely active. For starters, it's crucial to keep in mind that communism was responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people in the last century, double the combined tolls of World War I and II. It's also vital to know that most American communists (small "c") did not actually join the Party. Only the hardcore went that far. Those who joined the Party took a major leap of faith. They became loyal Soviet patriots. Regardless of their American citizenship, Communist Party members in the Stalin era (when Dalton Trumbo joined the Party) swore an oath:

"I pledge myself to rally the masses to defend the Soviet Union.
I pledge myself to remain at all times a vigilant and firm defender of
the Leninist line of the Party, the only line that ensures
the triumph of Soviet Power in the United States."

They wanted the "triumph" of Soviet power in America. They truly took marching orders from the Kremlin... American members of the Communist Party were dedicated to what their General Secretary William Foster called a "Soviet America", or what Langston Hughes called a U.S.S.A. "Put one more 'S' in the USA to make it Soviet. The USA when we take control will be the USSA". As for the Hollywood Ten, all were members of the Communist Party, and we've known their card numbers since the 1940s... Most remained vigorous in their Party work right up until they were called before Congress -- ie, the bipartisan Democrats and Republicans today tarred with the dread label "HUAC"...

Communists knew that the film industry could be a tremendous source of propaganda. Vladimir Lenin said that "of all the arts, for us the most important is cinema". Grigori Zinoviev, head of the Soviet Comintern, ordered that motion pictures "must become a mighty weapon of communist propaganda and for the enlightening of the widest working masses". In March 1928, the Soviets held their first Party Conference on Cinema. The Bolsheviks realized that nowhere was the movie industry as advanced and influential as the United States, especially in Hollywood's Golden Age. Their American comrades wholeheartedly agreed. Dalton Trumbo declared that "every screenwriter worth his salt wages the battle in his own way -- a kind of literary guerrilla warfare". He said that not employing the medium of film was "tantamount to abandoning the struggle altogether"...

Dalton Trumbo wrote some good movie scripts. He also wrote some that clearly echoed elements of the Party line. The trailer for the Trumbo movie shows him stoically meeting with Kirk Douglas for the classic film SPARTACUS. Here's something you should know about SPARTACUS: For the film adaptation, Trumbo wrote a script based on Howard Fast's novel, SPARTACUS. Fast was the proud recipient of the Stalin Prize. Given such realities, Congress in October 1947 summoned Trumbo and Lawson and other screenwriters to ask about their use of film as covert propaganda. Congressmen had questions about the screenwriters' Soviet loyalties and whether these loyalties affected what they were writing for mass consumption. In response, these secret Party members screamed foul and wrapped themselves in a First Amendment that did not exist in the USSR and would be the first thing facing the firing squad in a Moscow-controlled "Soviet America"... As for Trumbo, he held nothing back. "You have produced a capital city on the eve of its Reichstag fire", he lectured the congressmen. "For those who remember German history in the autumn of 1932 there is the smell of smoke in this very room". Trumbo was venomous in unhesitatingly torching his opponents as "Nazis". He wailed as he left the hearing room: "This is the beginning of an American concentration camp!"... Trumbo was prolific in numerous communist fronts...

TRUMBO is a boring and nauseating movie to watch and it took a few tries before I sat through the whole thing. The problem for me is that I despise the hideous people the movie is pitching as heroes defending freedom of speech when in fact they're communist mouthpieces working for the communist cause against America. The true sign of a communist is their rabid hate of anti-communists and the most powerful anti-communist during Trumbo's time was Senator Joe McCarthy. But McCarthy had nothing to do with outing commies in Hollywood -- McCarthy was outing commies in the State Department as chairman of the Permanent Sub-Committee on Investigations (PSI) in the Senate. The movie deceptively portrays McCarthy as being on the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) that black-listed Trumbo and other HOLLYWOOD TEN screenwriters. In TRUMBO McCarthy is stereotypically portrayed as a lunatic "witch-hunter" falsely accusing "innocents" by asking, "Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?" -- which the accused admittedly were by "pleading the 5th" amendment so as not to incriminate themselves.

I've written extensively over the years on McCarthy and how the communists in control of the USA government and the media destroyed his reputation and then murdered him. JFK and his brother Bobby (subsequently murdered by the same forces) and their father Joseph-Sr admired McCarthy and supported his anti-communism cause. You'd think the Counter Intelligence Agency -- mandated with outing spies -- would be on-side with McCarthy but CIA insiders belittled him as a simple-minded "red-baiter". With TRUMBO in mind this time, when viewing EXECUTIVE ACTION, I saw symbolism there that I hadn't recognized before and it was a EUREKA! moment -- a final piece in the 1,000-piece JFK PUZZLE -- just like the thousand days of JFK's presidency -- I've been working on all these years. My dedicated research and study began 36 years ago in 1988 upon the 25th anniversary of JFK's assassination.

I remember where I was and what I was doing when some of the first puzzle pieces began falling into place. I was sitting on the couch at home, reading LIFE magazine's 25th anniversary memorial edition, when my two sons came home from school. They sat down beside me and I started crying when showing them the pictures and talking about JFK and my elder son (12 years old) asked me why I was still crying since it happened such a long time ago. I told him it was because JFK was so good, but he was dead, and the people who killed him, who are so bad, were still alive. Then my younger son (6 years old) said "Mommy, if JFK was so good then why did they kill him?" I was about to go into a dissertation on the reasons, which they wouldn't understand, when it occurred to me that the answer was in the question, ie "The reason they killed JFK was because he was good". The killers didn't want people to be influenced by JFK and become good like him. They wanted people to follow the bad and believe there is no good. Really, it's as simple as that, or "Out of the mouths of babes" as they say.

By that time in the process of my awakening political consciousness I'd become aware of the existence of THE COMMUNIST CONSPIRACY FOR WORLD DOMINATION. I'd read books about the Communist Revolution in Russia and how Stalin had tortured millions of people and sent them to the Gulag for speaking out against the government. This is when I started realizing, and being astounded, that during WW-II we in the Free World had fought on the side of Communists who would have lost the war against Socialist Hitler if we hadn't helped Stalin win it. My research into this reality included a fascination with books about Communist spies infiltrating Western World governments. Some people read fictional James Bond spy novels and watch his movies but 007's intriques are goofy and spoofy compared to real spies, double-agents, defectors and spy-catchers -- truth is far more interesting than fiction. Below is a display of some spy books I possess in my library:

The books are laid out on the coffee table in order of their date of publication, not the order in which I bought or read them. For example, just this past summer I read MASK OF TREACHERY: THE FIRST DOCUMENTED DOSSIER ON BLUNT, MI5 AND SOVIET SUBVERSION. This book focused hugely on outed commie-spy Kim Philby -- head of England's military intelligence agency MI6 -- and his relationship with USA counterpart James Jesus Angleton -- head of the communist-hunting unit of the CIA. Angleton passed on nuclear secrets (from known-communist Oppenheimer) and names of KGB defectors to Philby (both heavy drinkers and suspected homosexuals) and later feigned shock and disbelief when Philby defected to Moscow. According to MASK OF TREACHERY (although it's only implied by the author) Angleton was a communist mole working for KGB and Mossad. This new knowledge is what enabled me to recognize the Angleton look-alike in EXECUTIVE ACTION. I'd already recognized the Henry Kissinger and Allen Dulles lookalikes in previous viewings.

The actor in EXECUTIVE ACTION who plays Foster -- the intelligence agent master-minding the "executive action" on JFK -- looks like Angleton and has his persona, ie quotes Shakespeare etc. (Also, "Foster" was the name of the General Secretary of the Communist Party in America). The actor playing the role of Paulitz -- the think-tank professor pitching the need for assassination -- is a Kissinger doppelganger. And the actor playing Ferguson -- the oil-man-tycoon-financier from the Military Industrial Complex -- is identical to Dulles (and his brother Foster). Kim Philby and Jim Angleton first met at Bletchley Park, in early 1944. A precociously literate 26-year-old Yale graduate, Angleton had been spotted as a promising spy by his professors and sent to the British intellligence centre for espionage training. There, Philby, chief of MI6 intelligence operations in Spain and Portugal, taught him the black arts of counter-intelligence. The two formed a friendship. Philby, then aged 32, preferred Angleton's quiet good manners to the fawning Anglophilia of his more provincial countrymen. A year later, when Angleton was assigned to run the US counter-intelligence office in Rome, Philby dropped in from his posting in Turkey. They compared notes on marriage and the growing threat of the Soviet Union. The men renewed their friendship in 1949, when Philby took over the MI6 station in Washington, DC. As mentioned previously, the crypto-communists who own government and media can't resist the thrill of revealing themselves to we the sheople in their movies. It's a form of "limited hangout" wherein they depict the truth of what they've done and how they did it but spin the script to camouflage the true cause and perpetrators. They use symbolism of real-life people and situations and laugh amongst themselves like it's all just one big joke. As Orwell said in 1984 about THE MINISTRY OF TRUTH:

"...Party ownership of the print media made it easy to manipulate public opinion,
and the film and radio carried the process further.
There were huge printing-shops and their sub editors, their typography experts,
and their elaborately equipped studios for the faking of photographs.

During WW-II Hollywood (named after the wood holly which is used to make magic wands) was a corporate-owned communist tool used to ramp up war hysteria by making pro-communist war movies villifying Hitler as a monster for kicking the Jews out of Germany and waging war against Communist Russia. It was movie night at the Kremlin. The date was May 23, 1943. The Red Army had defeated the Germans at the Battle of Stalingrad only three months earlier. For the first time, it looked like the Allies could win. And now, to celebrate the alliance between the Soviet Union and the United States, Joseph Stalin had decided to throw a banquet at the Kremlin. Despite wartime rationing, there was no shortage of delicious courses. Vodka flowed freely. After dinner, Stalin led the guests to his private movie theater. Joseph Davies, the former U.S. ambassador to the U.S.S.R. and an adviser to President Franklin Roosevelt, sat next to Stalin. Then the lights went down and MISSION TO MOSCOW started. The movie was pure Stalinist propaganda. It portrayed the dictator as a benevolent leader and the Soviet Union as a fraternal society free of repression. It presented the Moscow show trials, during which Stalin's rivals had been framed, as fair hearings. And it charged Leon Trotsky -- the Jewish Bolshevik murdered on Stalin's orders in 1940 -- with having been a Nazi agent.

But MISSION TO MOSCOW hadn't been made by the Kremlin-controlled studios or vetted by Stalin's censors. It came from a Hollywood studio, Warner Bros. Pictures, and was approved by censors from the U.S. government. Today, conservatives accuse Hollywood of pumping out leftist propaganda. During World War II, Hollywood actually did just that. And it had the full backing of the U.S. government. MISSION TO MOSCOW was part of a wave of movies made between 1942 and 1945 that lauded the Soviet regime... MISSION TO MOSCOW and the other pro-Soviet films of the era were made under the aegis of the Office of War Information, launched by Roosevelt in 1942 to "promote, in the United States and abroad, understanding of the status and progress of the war effort and of war policies, activities, and aims of the U.S. government". In other words, it oversaw American wartime propaganda... Roosevelt's successor, Harry Truman, didn't believe Stalin could be trusted. Confronted with Soviet expansion into Eastern Europe, he proclaimed the Truman Doctrine. The United States, he vowed, "would support free peoples who are resisting attempted subjugation by armed minorities or by outside pressures". The Cold War was underway. Hollywood's pro-Soviet films were relegated to the dustbin of history...

Here's a sample of one of dozens of WW-II movies still being pumped out by Hollywood (and their Trumbo-like subversive screen-writers) -- it's all-Hitler-all-the-time. This particular movie, INGLORIOUS BASTERDS is so vile it's unwatchable for the faint of heart:

Even though Germany lost the war and Hitler died 79 years ago, the Western nations are still blaming Hitler and "Naziism" -- which they call "Fascism" -- for the so-called "rise in anti-Semitism" as people protest and attempt to defend themselves against "God's Chosen People" -- who chose Palestine -- already inhabited by Arabs -- as their "Promised Land" of Israel.

Some of America's greatest living heroes -- including Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh -- were Isolationists and actively opposed USA joining war with England against Germany. In retaliation Jewish-owned corporations boycotted and pulled advertising dollars from any newspaper -- including the one owned by Ford -- which spread the Isolationist policy. And if that intimidation didn't work the Jews resorted to harsher methods -- like pushing old Henry in his Model-T off the road and down an embankment -- and kidnapping then killing Lindbergh's baby** and blaming it on a German. In July 1938, the German consul in Cleveland gave Ford, on his 75th birthday,
the award of the Grand Cross of the German Eagle,

JFK, after the war and before he got into politics, was a journalist for Hearst papers and went to Europe to cover the dividing up of Germany among the allies. JFK kept a travel diary and described his thoughts after visiting Hitler's Eagle's Nest high up in Bavaria. JFK had kind words to say about Hitler and after the publication of his diary he was villified in the press and accused of being a Nazi sympathiser.

Then 18 years later, when JFK was President, he travelled to Germany again and delivered his famous "Ich Bin Ein Berliner" speech. That was in June 1963 and five months later JFK was assassinated.

The square outside of the City Hall, when he delivered his famous speech of challenge to the Communist world, was jammed solidly as far as he could see in every direction by a tightly crowded mass of people, chanting steadily "Ken-ah-dee! and shouting a roar of approval when he repeatedly punctuated his thrusts at compromising appeasers... with the resounding refrain, "Let-- them-- come-- to-- Berlin!" The crowd was swept by a surge of pride and warmth, and deeply stirred as few such massive audiences in history have ever been moved, by Kennedy's opening and closing words. A German government official told us later that Adolf Hitler, at the peak of his popularity and power, had never attracted a crowd as large and as warmly emotional as the crowd that listened to Kennedy that day in Berlin.

Kennedy's fighting speech in Berlin, as magnificent as it was, actually was a grave political risk, and he knew it. Such a heated tribute to West Berlin's resistance to Communism could have undone all of the success of his appeal for peace and understanding with the Soviets... But Kennedy could not prevent himself from saying what his heart wanted him to say. He was carried away by the courage of the West Berliners, and shocked by the sight of the Berlin Wall that he had seen that morning, and he had to tell the people how he felt about them...."

Now I want to get back to expressing my thoughts on my recent re-watching of EXECUTIVE ACTION on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the assassination of JFK in November 1963.

A person can't help but be impressed that Trumbo and the producers and directors and everyone involved in this film are masters of their trade, or shall we say masters of deception. They obviously had materials provided to them by government and secret agencies in the know. The movie is eerie and emotional to watch because this isn't just a movie -- what's playing out before our eyes actually happened. It's highest level true crime and detective drama -- the ultimate Whodunit and now we know.

I snapped screenshots of the most profound scenes overlaid by poignant music hypnotically creating suspense, foreboding and sadness:

When I said earlier that I was closing the lid on the JFK PUZZLE box I meant that I'd found the missing pieces and the picture is complete. I feel confident in saying that James Angleton of CIA -- Communist Infiltration of America -- was a Communist Zionist mole working for KGB and Mossad who masterminded JFK's assassination along with subversives Allen Dulles and Henry Kissinger -- as revealed symbolically in EXECUTIVE ACTION.

I've always hated that the airport in the nation's capitol -- Washington, DC -- is named after Dulles who everyone knows was fired as head of the CIA by JFK -- and then Orwellianly placed on the Warren Commission charged with investigating the assassination which he himself had committed. I know the Dulles airport was not named after Allen, but after his brother Foster, but both Dulles were high-level subversives in the State Department -- the very traitors McCarthy was talking about when he said, "Digging out a skunk is a dirty, smelly business. No one wants to be near you when you're done -- but someone's got to do it". Americans should feel shame for allowing such an aberration as the Dulles International Airport in their midst. I love the last stanza of the poem written by Dallas detective, Roger Craig, who dedicated -- and lost -- his life to defending JFK:

"...Our president is lying up there cold beneath his flame

In the early 1950s, American leaders repeatedly told the public that they should be fearful of subversive Communist influence in their lives.
