To Orwell Today,

It's sickening that so many individuals involved in modern "media" businesses, who claim to be so concerned about "the children", think nothing of the immorality and iniquity their own businesses feed to, and spread among, "the children"!

There is a direct relationship to the types of advertising, programming, and entertainment "the children" are being exposed to through the "media", and the increasing lack of morality they are displaying, as well as a corresponding rise in their lawless behaviors.

It's sickening how "the children" are programmed from an early age to participate in their own downfall, and believe that it's the right thing to do! It's sickening to watch "the children" fall into the pit of immorality beamed into their homes daily through the liberal "media", especially through TV, and on Internet, so that they become, in essence, human sacrifices for these beasts! Most sickening of all, IT'S ALLOWED TO HAPPEN IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM!

If you're not alarmed, and you're not ashamed, and you're not sickened by this, you're as cold hearted as the fallen angels of hell!

Yes, they allow it to happen in the name of "freedom of expression" just like the killing of unborn children is done in the name of "freedom of choice".

Remember that in "1984" Orwell described how the Party (Big Brother) practices doublethink wherein: "The official ideology abounds with contradictions...It systematically undermines the solidarity of the family all the while appealing to the sentiment of family."

Orwell also said that The Brotherhood would: "corrupt the minds of children."

Some nations are having war waged against them with bombs and tanks. Other nations are having war waged against them spiritually and morally. The latter is the case for North America and the rest of the Western World which is suffering under an onslaught of pornography so all-encompassing that it is next to impossible to prevent exposure to it. Every month it gets worse. And yet, as you point out, the people don't speak out against it. Even as this pornography of the mind and soul (television, movies, comic books, videos, internet and cell phones) is thrown by the bucketful at their children, the people do nothing to stop it or speak out against it. They themselves, the parents, are also victims of this onslaught of pornography.

Your outrage at this evil is appropriately expressed.
